ANTONIO'S FOCUS AREAS
Solution: Partnering with businesses for internships, providing vocational training opportunities, creating a District 17 online job board, instituting adult/youth career and academic development and leadership programs, creating strategic partnerships with vocational training institutions, churches, and non-profits. Empowering the community to increase employability.
Solution: Instituting Crime Watch and Neighborhood Watch programs. Creating an online anonymous Crime Report submission form. Working with IMPD through education, partnerships, and community policing.
Solution: Creating an online “Community Calendar and Job Board”- reinstituting “Block parties” with church/social agencies involvement. Creating a community monthly newsletter with events, church service dates and times, recovery programs, resources, job opportunities, free training and more. Starting a digital “Townhall” for the community to discuss and deal with important issues.

Solution: Working with financial institutions to create programs promoting homeownership readiness, creating more “rent to own” opportunities. Helping Veteran’s utilize their VA benefits.
Solution: Bringing entrepreneurship programs to the community by working with the SBA, Select, Inc., The Grindery, IVY Tech, IBCC, ICC, READY, local successful business owners, Universities, VA, and Colleges for training and coaching. Partnering with Mid States Supplier Diversity Council and the City under Mayor Hogsett to assist small business owners to become Minority/ Woman/Disadvantaged/ or Veteran Business Certified.
